Multimedia Journalist at WJFW Newswatch 12 (NBC)
For the past two years, I've worked as a multimedia/journalist for an NBC affiliate in the 'Northwoods' of Wisconsin. During my time here, I've told stories that will stick with me for a lifetime. When I first moved here, I wasn't sure what my time living alone in north central Wisconsin would be like, but I've learned so much about myself in the time I've been here.
On a daily basis, I'm expected to turn a package and VOSOT. In addition to that, I also post updates on social media (Facebook, Twitter) and write my own web script at the end of the day. I started off as a weekend reporter/anchor/producer then was moved to weekday dayside reporter. I am also a fill-in anchor for the 5 and 6 p.m. shows. Linked below are two of my most recent hard news stories. I've also done a number of features, including a story about a local girl born with an eye condition who was training to compete in a martial arts competition. |
